Incredible Success for Leyland & Chorley Tae Kwon Do

WKC World Championships 2018

During the weekend of 27th and 28th October 2018, some of the students from Leyland & Chorley Tae Kwon Do competed in the WKC World Championships in Manchester and came away with an incredible haul of medals. Every student did themselves, their friends and family and of course, the club extremely proud as they not only qualified in the first place, they competed and represented England and they all won medals. This is a fantastic achievement so please join us in congratulating each of them.

WKC World Championships

Good luck to everyone who is competing at the WKC World Championships in Manchester this weekend. Especially Izzy, Adam, Jessica, Eve, James and Craig.

Halloween Fancy Dress

At the Leyland class on Tuesday 30th October, we are inviting all students to attend in Halloween Fancy Dress for fun.

Maybe there will be a prize for the best costume.

WKC Youth Games

Let Stuart or Kate know if you want to take part in the WKC Youth Games in Manchester on the 22nd of April.

Chorley Class

Great numbers in the Chorley Class. Great to see all classes in Leyland, Chorley and Adlington are doing well.

GTI Competition

Let Stuart or Kate know if you are interested in taking part in the GTI Open on Sunday 29th April.

WKC World Championships Success

As many of you will know, Izzy Spear, Adam Haworth and Mikey Thornley have travelled to Portugal to compete in the WKC World Championships.

Well, they all did incredibly well and are a credit to NWTKD and Leyland & Chorley Taekwondo. They each got a handful of medals and are now World Champions.

Izzy Spear came away with 3 Gold Medals and 1 Silver.

Mikey got 1 Gold, 2 Silvers and a Bronze.

Adam got 2 Golds and 2 Silvers.
